For some of us, the spring time is the most stressful time of year. School is coming to an end. That either means you're scrambling to maintain your GPA, or you're grounding your kids because of their GPA. Either way, the spring time can be so stressful! ACTs, EOCs, and finals. Everything is so close together, and the pressure is definitely put on. In the midst of all my worrying and stressing I have to remind myself that everything moves on, and that summer is right around the corner. Here are a few ways to enjoy the spring in the midst of the busy schedules:
Open your windows
There is nothing more refreshing than a cool breeze flowing through the house while reading a book or folding some laundry.
Take a few hours of your weekend, and organize that tupperware drawer you've been promising to get to since December. You will feel better knowing it's done, and you might be able to find some missing lids.
Do some gardening
Give back to mother nature! Plant some window flowers, or even start your own garden. Homegrown tomatoes just do not compare to store bought tomatoes.
Get your toes done for upcoming flip flop season, or maybe spoil yourself with some new highlights. The better you look, the better you feel. (This might not be true, but it's always my excuse!)
Don't shorten yourself the credit you deserve! Springtime is stressful. It's important to pat yourself on the back every once in a while. Enjoy the weather, and enjoy yourself. Don't lose yourself in stress and discomfort. Open up, and enjoy all the opportunities and beauty around you!
